Celebrating Black History Month "Catarina Macario"

Catarina Cantanhede Melônio Macário (born October 4, 1999) is a Brazilian-born American professional soccer player who currently plays in the French Division 1 Féminine for Lyon. She is the international face of the United States.

Macario played collegiately in the United States and was a standout performer. TopDrawerSoccer.com named her “Freshman of the Year” and ESPNW Player of the Year in 2017. Macario was named Hermann Trophy winner, ESPNW Player of the Year, and TopDrawerSoccer.com National Player of the Year in 2018. Macario received the Honda Sports Award and the Hermann Trophy for the second year in a row in 2019.
