Celebrating Black History Month "Weston McKennie"

Weston James Earl McKennie (born August 28, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who now plays for Juventus in Serie A and for the US national team. McKennie is a versatile midfielder who can play in a variety of positions, mostly as a box-to-box or deep-lying defensive midfielder.

McKennie started his senior club career at Schalke 04 after coming through the development system. He established himself as a first-team member in 2017–18, appearing in 25 games across all competitions. McKennie was loaned to Italian champions Juventus after three seasons, with the agreement turning permanent in March 2021.

McKennie has represented the United States internationally at both the youth and senior levels. He made his senior debut in 2017 and has finished runner-up in the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup and won the inaugural 2021 CONCACAF Nations League.
