Alana Simone Cook (born April 11, 1997) is an American professional soccer defender who currently plays for the OL Reign of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and the US national team.
Cook is a former youth international for the United States, having captained the U17s. In 2014, she advanced to the U20 level, and in 2017, she advanced to the U23 level. In 2019, she captained the United States U23s.
Because of her British father, Cook is eligible to play for England, and she received her first senior international call-up in September 2019 as a training player for England’s friendly against Portugal and Brazil.
Cook was called up to the US national team for the first time on October 31, 2019.
